Physcial Therapy

PHYSICAL THERAPY, FL

At Quality Performance Rehabilitation, you’re not only getting the best treatment for orthopedic and neurological conditions in Port St. Lucie & Fort Pierce, FL, but you’re also getting physical therapists who work directly with you. Our offices are owned and operated by our physical therapists, who take the time to plan a customized program to help patients return to their prior level of functioning. We encourage activities and lifestyle changes that help prevent further injuries.

What is Physical Therapy?

Physical therapists are healthcare professionals who maintain, restore, and improve movement, activity, and health, enabling an individual to have optimal functioning. They treat patients who may be facing different orthopedic or neurological conditions. The physical therapist will focus on improving each patient’s functional abilities in order to restore a high quality of life.

What are the Benefits of Physical Therapy?

Physical therapy benefits patients in many ways. For instance, in some cases, a thoughtfully planned program can help you avoid surgery, which can reduce your health-care costs. However, most people utilize our services to eliminate aches and pains or to recover from a stroke. We work to strengthen weakened parts of the body to improve gait and balance.

Laser Therapy

Laser therapy is a medical treatment that uses focused light that passes through the skin and reaches specific affected portions of your body. We use cold laser therapy, which uses low light levels to stimulate healing while keeping your tissue at a consistent temperature. The cells of the affected area absorb the light energy, promoting healing while reducing pain and inflammation. We only offer this treatment at our Goldtree location.
